Ranked SEC Matchups Headline ESPN’s Weekend Softball Slate

With only three weeks left in the regular season every game counts and ESPN has top games all weekend long. No. 10 Florida at No. 19 Auburn headlines the schedule this week with game two of the series airing on Saturday, April 27, at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and game three airing on Sunday, April 28, at 1 p.m. on ESPN. No. 22 Kentucky at No. 3 Alabama will also appear on ESPN on Saturday at 9 p.m. ET.  In total, 15 games will be available throughout the weekend across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and SEC Network and another 110+ available digitally across ESPN3, ACC Network Extra, SEC Network+ and ESPN+.

The complete No. 21 Georgia at No. 20 South Carolina series will be available with game one airing on SEC Network on Friday, April 26, at 6 p.m. Games two and three will air on ESPN2 on Saturday at noon and Sunday at 3 p.m. A Spanish-language feed will be available for game 3 on ESPN3.

Other ranked teams appearing this weekend include No. 3 Alabama, No. 9 Tennessee, No. 18 Ole Miss, No. 22 Kentucky, No. 24 Arkansas and No. 25 Tulsa.

7Innings Podcast Television Special
Building on the popularity of the weekly podcast, 7Innings Podcast Softball Featured will air Sunday, April 28, at 5 p.m. on ESPNU. The show—hosted by Holly Rowe—will include five features on college softball players from top programs around the country.

This week’s edition of 7Innings Podcast, “Group Hugs,” is out now on ESPN Audio, iTunes and Spotify. Jessica Mendoza rejoins Beth Mowins and the crew to talk paid third assistant coaches, the RIP shakeup, spotlight Group 5 schools and Michele Smith remembers coaching legend Ralph Raymond. This week’s episode will also introduce a new segment “Where’s Jenny” with Jenny Dalton-Hill.

After traveling all over the SEC, Mic’d Up Monday makes its final stop in College Station with Jo Evans as the Aggies face No. 24 Arkansas. Mic’d Up Monday has made a different stop every Monday of the regular season to give fans a look at what goes into being a head coach.
