ESPN to Offer 40+ Hours of Live, Original Content from Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta

ESPN’s coverage of Super Bowl LIII – the New England Patriots vs. the Los Angeles Rams – kicks off Wednesday, Jan. 30, and includes more than 40 hours of live programming from Atlanta. SportsCenter, NFL Live and more will originate from ESPN’s Super Bowl headquarters at Centennial Olympic Park where viewing is free and open to the public. ESPN’s Super Bowl programming also features daily editions of Golic and Wingo and First Take from the Atlanta Convention Center at AmericasMart and, on Sunday, pre- and post-game shows from Mercedes-Benz Stadium (schedule).

The following shows will be live from AmericasMart Wednesday-Friday and feature a lineup of special guests. ESPN Radio will also have a full slate of coverage on Super Bowl Sunday beginning at 6 a.m. ET, as well as leading up to and following the game.

ESPN Digital
ESPN’s digital coverage of Super Bowl LIII will feature analysis, commentary, breaking news, video and more across ESPN.com and the ESPN App leading up to, during and after the game. ESPN.com’s roster of on-site journalists includes NFL senior writers Dan Graziano, Mike Sando, Mina Kimes, Ian O’Connor, Kevin Van Valkenburg and Seth Wickersham, NFL Nation reporters Mike Reiss (covering the Patriots), Lindsey Thiry (Rams), and Kevin Seifert (with the biggest, best, and controversial calls, and a full review), analyst Bill Barnwell (with a postgame breakdown of how the game was won), and more.

The Undefeated
The Undefeated, ESPN’s multiplatform content initiative exploring the intersections of sports, race and culture, will feature extensive coverage of Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta. Highlights:

ESPN The Magazine
The latest issue of ESPN The Magazine – hitting newsstands Jan. 25 – previews the upcoming Super Bowl matchup between Sean McVay’s fresh-faced Rams and Bill Belichick’s stalwart Patriots as they get ready to head to Atlanta.

ESPN Deportes
ESPN Deportes will be the Spanish-language home of Super Bowl LIII, featuring exclusive Spanish-language coverage on ESPN Deportes TV, ESPN Deportes Radio and streaming via the ESPN App. This is the second Super Bowl telecast for ESPN Deportes, via an agreement with the National Football League and CBS, home of Super Bowl LIII. ESPN Deportes also televised Super Bowl 50. Super Bowl LIII coverage on ESPN Deportes will be handled by the veteran Spanish-language NFL broadcasting crew: Álvaro Martín (play-by-play), former NFL kicker and Super Bowl champion Raúl Allegre (analyst), and sideline reporter John Sutcliffe. This will be the 15th Super Bowl that Martín and Allegre cover together from site. They have been the main commentator team for ESPN coverage in Latin America since Super Bowl XXXIV.

ESPN International
ESPN International and its affiliated networks will present Super Bowl LIII live to more than 68 million households in 75 countries and territories throughout Spanish-speaking Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, Canada, the Philippines and Sub Saharan Africa. Commentary and analysis is provided in four languages — English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

ESPN Films’ 30 for 30 documentary “Deion’s Double Play” premieres Jan. 31, at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. Directed by Ken Rodgers and produced by NFL Films, the documentary tells the story of Deion “Prime Time” Sanders’ incredible feat of athleticism – and logistics – starting in Pittsburgh, where he was with the Braves for the National League Championship Series, continuing to Miami, when he played for the Falcons the next day, and returning back to Pittsburgh, where he joined the Braves again that night.
