Matt Barrie, Kevin Negandhi, Sal Paolantonio to Co-Host a SportsCenter Special on Thursday
ESPN will carry the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl victory parade live on Thursday. Philadelphia-area natives Kevin Negandhi and Sal Paolantonio will be on the ground in Philly and Matt Barrie will anchor a SportsCenter Special at 11 a.m. ET on ESPN2 and the ESPN App. Paolantonio report from various points on the parade route while Negandhi will be at the Philadelphia Art Museum, where the parade concludes. Barrie, at the SportsCenter desk, will conduct interviews with some special guests expected to join the program via phone.
During the parade, Eagles outside linebacker Mychal Kendricks will take over ESPN social media accounts, providing an all-access look at the celebration from the parade floats. His photos and videos will appear on the Stories carousel across both Facebook and Instagram, among other platforms.
Malcolm Jenkins and Other Top Eagles Players to Visit ESPN on Friday
A day after the team parade, a handful of Super Bowl champion Eagles players will visit ESPN’s Bristol, Conn., campus on Friday (Feb. 9) where they will make guest appearances on a variety of shows, including Golic and Wingo, SportsCenter, First Take, NFL Live, and more.
Eagles players scheduled to visit ESPN include:
- Running backs Jay Ajayi, LeGarrette Blount and Corey Clement
- Defensive end Brandon Graham
- Safety Malcolm Jenkins
- Wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey
- Offensive lineman Lane Johnson
- Cornerback Jalen Mills
Super Bowl Sunday on ESPN:
- On Super Bowl Sunday, ESPN ranked as the 1 full-time cable network among all key male demos (men 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54) and adults 25-54.
- Following Super Bowl LII, ESPN’s NFL Primetime averaged 2,431,000 viewers – the show’s most-viewed episode in the last three years.
- PrimeTime was also the most-viewed telecast on cable on Super Bowl Sunday among all key male demos (18-34, 18-49 and 25-54) and adults 18-49 and 25-54.
- PrimeTime averaged a larger audience than any other cable network following the Super Bowl – the audience was nearly twice the size of the No. 2 network.
