- Alabama’s Nick Saban and FSU’s Jimbo Fisher Live on College GameDay Set
Music superstar Sam Hunt will join ESPN’s College GameDay Built by the Home Depot as guest picker on Saturday, Sept. 2 as the premier pregame show bookends its season from Atlanta. Hunt, a former quarterback for the University of Alabama at Birmingham, will join host Rece Davis and analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso and Desmond Howard from International Plaza outside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in advance of the 2017 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game between No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Florida State (8 p.m. on ABC). The multi-platinum selling artist will be the first guest picker of College GameDay’s 25th season of road shows and will be on hand to witness Corso’s 296th headgear pick. College GameDay airs from 9 a.m. to noon ET on ESPN, with Hunt set to join the show in the final segment (approximately 11:40 a.m. -noon).

Sam Hunt Co-hosts Marty Smith’s America on Sept. 5
Continuing his run on ESPN, Sam Hunt will co-host the next new episode of SportsCenter presents: Marty Smith’s America, Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Hunt will join Smith as they highlight the return of football at the University of Alabama-Birmingham after being shut down for two years due to financial concerns. The half-hour program will also include Smith’s conversation with New York Giants wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
Marty Smith’s America was launched as a monthly television program highlighting Smith’s singular personality and his storytelling and interviewing style.
