SEC Network: More Than 30 Hours of SEC Football Media Days Coverage

SEC Network airs more than 30 hours from SEC Football Media Days inside the Hyatt Regency Birmingham – Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover, Ala., beginning Monday, July 10, and concluding Thursday, July 13.  The network’s coverage will be anchored by SEC Now: 2017 SEC Football Media Days and The Paul Finebaum Show each day, with both programs featuring prominent guests including head coaches, and reaction to the latest news and buzz of the annual college football kickoff event.  As a staple of the network’s SEC Football Media Days coverage, now in its third year, all 14 head coaches’ press conferences will be carried over the course of the four days and each coach will be interviewed on set.

SEC Network Analyst Roster Onsite
Former SEC football standouts-turned SEC Network analysts Greg McElroy, Booger McFarland, Marcus Spears, and Jordan Rodgers will be onsite for the network throughout the week, appearing both on SEC Now: 2017 SEC Football Media Days and The Paul Finebaum Show. Dari Nowkhah and Laura Rutledge will share hosting duties on SEC Now: 2017 SEC Football Media Days.

SEC Network Programming Highlights:

College Football Live Returns, Nick Saban First Guest
ESPN’s daily college football news and opinion show, College Football Live, returns on Wednesday, July 12, and Thursday, July 13, with special one-hour editions from Hoover, Ala., at 5 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively, on ESPN2. Maria Taylor will host and be joined by analysts Finebaum, Joey Galloway, McElroy, McFarland, and Spears. Alabama’s Nick Saban is slated as the first guest for the show’s 2017 season debut.

College Football Live will air most weekdays 5-5:30 p.m. on ESPN2 throughout July and into August, before moving to 5:30 p.m. on August 15, also on ESPN2, for the season.

SportsCenter will cover the most-up-to-date and prominent news from Hoover, Ala.; ESPN.com’s Ed Aschoff and Alex Scarborough will also be in Hoover, Ala.
