Sunday NFL Countdown: Schefter’s Anatomy of a Trade; Jaguars Receiver Allen Hurns on “Countdown Cam”; and more

Sunday NFL Countdown host Chris Berman previews week 7 in the NFL with analysts Trent Dilfer, Matt Hasselbeck, Randy Moss and Charles Woodson on October 23 at 11 a.m. Wendi Nix will host segments, NFL Insider Adam Schefter will report the latest league news and senior fantasy sports analyst Matthew Berry will provide insight on the day’s key matchups.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns is the subject of this week’s “Countdown Cam” – offering viewers a behind-the-scenes look as he prepares to face the visiting Oakland Raiders.

The two-hour program is preceded by NFL Insiders: Sunday Edition (10 a.m., ESPN) with host Trey Wingo, Mark Dominik, Louis Riddick and Schefter.

ESPN’s Monday Night Football: Von Miller and the Broncos Host Brock Osweiler and the Texans

Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller and the Denver Broncos host their former quarterback Brock Osweiler and the Houston Texans on ESPN’s Monday Night Football on October 24 at 8:15 p.m. ET. Play-by-play announcer Sean McDonough will call the game from Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver with analyst and Super Bowl-winning head coach Jon Gruden and sideline reporter Lisa Salters. This is the 25th consecutive season (1992-2016) the Broncos have appeared on MNF – the longest active streak among all 32 NFL teams.

Texans-Broncos will also be available in Spanish on ESPN Deportes and streamed live on WatchESPN for fans with video subscriptions from affiliated providers.

Leading into the NFL’s week 7 finale, Suzy Kolber will host the more than two-hour Monday Night Countdown (6 p.m., ESPN) with analysts Trent Dilfer, Matt Hasselbeck, Randy Moss, Charles Woodson and Steve Young. NFL features reporter Michelle Beisner-Buck and the MNF announce team will also contribute to the show, as will host Chris Berman and NFL insider Adam Schefter from ESPN headquarters.

ESPN Radio: Drew Brees and New Orleans Saints vs. Kansas City Chiefs

ESPN Radio continues its 2016 NFL schedule on Sunday, October 23, at noon as the New Orleans Saints, led by quarterback Drew Brees, visit quarterback Alex Smith and the Kansas City Chiefs. Adam Amin, analyst Bill Polian and reporter John Clayton will call the game.

ESPN The Magazine 2016 Ultimate Standings: Panthers, Packers and Cardinals Ranked Top-Five

Three NFL teams – the Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals – rank among the top-five sports franchises in ESPN The Magazine’s 14th annual Ultimate Standing survey. Results are featured in The Mag’s “NBA Preview” issue on newsstands Friday, Oct. 21. Every year, The Magazine compiles the results of fan surveys and conducts financial analyses to determine which professional sports franchises in the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL combined to offer the greatest rewards for the emotion, money and time invested by fans. The rankings factor in feedback in 25 categories from more than 60,000 fans nationwide, as well as teams’ efficiency in generating on-field performance from fan dollars.
