Women’s College Basketball: Big Monday Doubleheader Features Four Top-25 Programs

ESPN’s Big Monday presented by Delta continues February 15, showcasing No. 2 South Carolina against No. 25 Tennessee in an SEC showdown (ESPN2, 7 p.m.), followed by a non-conference tilt of No. 22 USF at No. 12 Louisville (ESPN2, 9 p.m.).

During Big Monday, the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship Committee’s potential top-10 teams in seed order will be announced at halftime, as well as on espnW. This is the second of three times the potential seeding will be announced during Big Monday games (also Feb. 15 & Feb. 29). The three February announcements will have no bearing on the final bracket that will be revealed on Selection Monday, March 14, at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

  • No. 11 Mississippi State travels to No. 15 Texas A&M on Thursday, Feb. 11 (SEC Network, 7 p.m.), as the first part of a doubleheader, also featuring No. 25 Tennessee at Vanderbilt (9 p.m.)

Rachel Margolis Siegal

A part of the Internal Communications team at ESPN, I began with the network in 2010 as part of the College Sports PR team. Always an avid sports fan and not an athlete – I grew up a huge fan of the Hartford Whalers, while also watching my brother compete at different levels. I became the manager of several high school sports teams and continued that hobby into college. While at Quinnipiac, I worked in the Sports Information Department, which led me to a summer internship at the New Haven Ravens, a AA baseball team, and an eventual job with the Athletic Communications Department at the University of Connecticut. After my five-year stint at Connecticut, I spent six years as Director of Communications at the BIG EAST Conference in Providence, R.I. before joining ESPN.
