The bitter end to Landon Donovan’s United States career

At 32 years old, Landon Donovan holds the U.S. men’s national team record for career goals (57) and assists (57), and the MLS all-time record for most goals (143) and assists (136). He was also left off the 23-man roster for the World Cup in Brazil. Now, he’s retiring from the sport, after a low with his international career, but on a high on his pro career: He helped the Galaxy reach – and win – the MLS Cup final on December 7, and set another record in his final game as a professional, capturing his sixth MLS Cup title. Delon Wright’s breakout role

Utah’s Delon Wright was the most overlooked player last season, despite his dominance on the court. His stats ranked with some of the best in the game, and, according to John Pudner, who established the Value Add metric, Wright is on track to be one of the greatest college basketball players ever.
