ESPN Deportes will provide 24/7 multiplatform Spanish-language news and information coverage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup from Brazil June 12 – July 13 available across television, radio, online and mobile.
Complementing the network’s more than 600+ live hours of Spanish-language coverage of the quadrennial sports event, ESPN Deportes will provide Portuguese-language telecasts of at least 54 live World Cup matches, starting with the opener as the host nation Brazil plays Croatia on June 12 at 4:00 p.m. ET. ESPN Deportes+, ESPN Deportes’ broadband channel available via ESPNdeportes.com and ESPN3, will carry ten matches live (those days when there is more than one match simultaneously).

- World Cup-related content available across ESPN Deportes TV, ESPN Deportes Radio, ESPNdeportes.com, ESPN Deportes+, ESPN Sync and Watch ESPN;
- More than 600 live hours of World Cup-related news and information programming on ESPN Deportes, ESPN Deportes Radio and WatchESPN combined;
- Six newsgathering units throughout the country, including units dedicated to Mexico, Argentina, and other relevant teams;

- Futbol Picante, the news and analysis debate show focused on Mexican soccer will air nightly with additional live editions pre and post Mexico matches.
- ESPN Deportes’ international soccer program Fuera de Juego, featuring World Cup legend and 1978 Golden Boot winner Mario Kempes, will preview and recap the matches of the day with two live, daily editions seven days a week.
- Raza Deportiva, the network’s live morning simulcast show, will expand from five to seven times a week.
- Nacion ESPN, the interactive show that caters to the voice of the fan while delivering the latest in sports will air nightly with special segments from Rio and Los Angeles.
- ESPN Deportes Radio’s signature soccer talk-show (simulcast on ESPN Deportes) Jorge Ramos y Su Banda will expand from five to seven times a week. Jorge Ramos and Hernan Pereyra co-host with live guests to breach entertaining discussions of the day’s sports news and analysis. The program will be broadcast each day in-between the early matches. A second edition will be broadcast on ESPN Deportes Radio (only) from 4p.m. to 7p.m.
