Fans Worldwide to Vote on Best Players Competing in the FIFA 2014 World Cup

ESPN FC today kicks off Ultimate XI: Brazil 2014, a week-long, worldwide vote in English and Spanish language hosted by ESPN FC that will give fans the power to vote for the best manager and position players competing in the 2014 FIFA World Cup within the popular 4-3-3 formation. Fans can cast their votes now at ESPNFC.com/UltimateXI or ESPNFC.com/ElMejor11, where they’ll also be able to access a side-by-side comparison of managers’ and players’ bios and stats.

ESPN FC will devote daily segments debating the merits of the players who should be included via telecasts where available and video clips directly within the ESPNFC.com vote page, as well as social debate on @ESPNFC around the selections. Additionally, ESPN Deportes, Fuera De Juego and #REDES will cover the vote on its Spanish-language platforms.

The vote will conclude on Friday, April 18 with a special Ultimate XI: Brazil 2014 reveal show live on ESPNFC.com at 12 p.m. ET.
