Men’s College Basketball: No. 2 Wichita State Closes Season on ESPN, No. 1 Florida Leads Schedule & “ESPN3 Surround” of No. 5 Kansas at Oklahoma State

Undefeated No. 2 Wichita State Closes Regular Season on ESPN March 1
ESPN will televise the last regular-season game for undefeated No. 2 Wichita State – against Missouri State – on Saturday, March 1, at 2 p.m. The Shockers are attempting to become the 25th team – and first since Saint Joseph’s in 2003-04 – to complete a regular-season unbeaten. They became the first Division I team to reach 30-0 in the regular season with a victory over Bradley on Tuesday, Feb. 25.

New No. 1 Florida Leads Lineup Next Week 
ESPN’s Big Monday Presented by Verizon, Super Tuesday and Wednesday Night Hoops schedule will be highlighted by telecasts involving No. 1 Florida and No. 6 Duke.

“ESPN3 Surround” Coverage of No. 5 Kansas at Oklahoma State
ESPN will offer “ESPN3 Surround” coverage of the No. 5 Kansas at Oklahoma State Saturday Primetime Driven by State Farm telecast on Saturday, March 1, at 9 p.m. on ESPN. The newest second-screen initiative, which provides an alternative viewing experience to the traditional telecast with different camera angles and audio, debuted last week with applications around Duke at North Carolina and Syracuse at Duke.

Saturday’s ESPN3 Surround production will be similar to the Syracuse at Duke game, offering  multiple cameras and the natural sound inside the arena.
