The 2013-14 men’s college basketball season begins Friday, Nov. 8, with a full slate of games across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3 – highlighted by the second installment of the Armed Forces Classic featuring Georgetown at No. 19 Oregon – this year from United States Army Garrison Humphreys in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
All season, ESPN will continue to serve as the leading home for college basketball with the industry’s most extensive package of game and studio coverage– approximately 1,500 exclusive games involving 276 teams from 31 Division I conferences across its networks.
Additional Opening-Weekend Highlights:
- The All-Military Classic from Lexington, Va., on ESPN on Friday showcases Army vs. Air Force at 1 p.m. and the Citadel vs. Virginia Military Institute at 3:30 p.m. The consolation and championship games will be shown on Saturday at 6 and 8:30 p.m. on ESPN3
- No. 18 Connecticut will face Maryland Friday in the Brooklyn Hoops at the Barclays Center at 6:30 p.m. (ESPN2).
- A pair of games featuring No. 21 Notre Dame (ESPN3) – Friday vs. Miami (Ohio) at 7 p.m. and Sunday vs. Stetson at 1 p.m.
- No. 24 Virginia plays James Madison Friday at 7 p.m. (ESPN3)
