NBA: Kobe, Lakers Headline Star-Studded Weekend

ESPN and ABC will showcase several of the NBA’s biggest stars and best teams this weekend, including two appearances by Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers. ESPN’s Friday night doubleheader will begin with the playoff-bound Atlanta Hawks hosting Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and the Boston Celtics at 8 p.m. (also available on ESPN 3D), followed by the Lakers battling the Utah Jazz at 10:30 p.m.

The NBA Sunday Showcase on ABC on April 3 has two games: the San Antonio Spurs taking on Phoenix Suns and Steve Nash at 1 p.m., followed by the Lakers taking on the Denver Nuggets at 3:30 p.m.  Sunday’s coverage will start with GMC NBA Countdown at 12:30 p.m. with host Stuart Scott and analysts Jon Barry and Michael Wilbon.
