Men’s College Basketball: ESPN Weekly Franchises Begin with Saturday Showcase

ESPN’s men’s college basketball schedule (Jan. 2-7) sees the start of ESPN’s college basketball franchises Saturday Showcase Presented by 5-hour ENERGY, Big Monday Presented by Verizon and Super Tuesday Presented by Cree.

Saturday Showcase Presented by 5-Hour Energy (Jan. 3)

11 Texas takes on Texas Tech at 2 p.m. on ESPNU.
20 Ohio State takes on Illinois at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN2, followed by No. 3 Virginia hosting playing at Miami at 5:30 p.m. and No. 7 Gonzaga at Portland at 9:30 p.m.
At 4 p.m., a top-25 showdown between No. 20 Baylor and No. 18 Oklahoma on ESPNU.
19 North Carolina travels to Clemson at 8:15 p.m. on ESPN

Big Monday Presented by Verizon (Jan. 5)

In an ESPN doubleheader, No. 14 travels to No. 19 North Carolina at 7 p.m., followed by a Big 12 tilt featuring No. 18 Oklahoma vs. No. 11 Texas.
Also in action on ESPNU, No. 17 West Virginia at Texas Tech, also at 7 p.m.

Super Tuesday Presented by Cree (Jan. 6)

1 Kentucky hosts Ole Miss at 7 p.m. on SEC Network.
At 9 p.m., No. 20 Ohio State travels to Minnesota, airing on ESPN, as well as Oklahoma State at No. 9 Iowa State on ESPN2.

Schedule Highlights:

10 Utah hosts USC on Friday, Jan. 2, at 10 p.m. on ESPNU.
A Wednesday night (Jan. 7) ESPN2 doubleheader showcases No. 3 Virginia hosting NC State at 7 p.m., followed by No. 10 Utah against Colorado at 9 p.m.
13 Kansas battles No. 22 Baylor, also on Wednesday, at 9 p.m. ESPNU.
