ESPN Radio to Showcase 22 Postseason College Bowls including College Football Playoff
College Football Playoff National Championship Game Airs January 8
ESPN Radio’s season-long coverage of the 2017 college football campaign will culminate with a 22-game postseason bowl schedule, including all matchups from the College Football Playoff, capped by the College Football Playoff National Championship Presented by AT&T on Monday, Jan. 8, with coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET. ESPN Monday Night Football play-by-play voice Sean McDonough will call the final game alongside analyst Todd Blackledge, with reporters Holly Rowe and Ian Fitzsimmons. ESPN Radio’s on-site studio coverage will be hosted by Marc Kestecher, with analyst Trevor Matich.
ESPN Radio will also broadcast each of the “New Year’s Six” bowls featuring the College Football Playoff Semifinals and four additional premier games, starting with the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic between No. 8 USC and No. 5 Ohio State on Friday, Dec. 29 (8:30 p.m.). The PlayStation Fiesta Bowl featuring No. 11 Washington vs. No. 9 Penn State (4 p.m.) and the Capital One Orange Bowl (8 p.m.) between No. 6 Wisconsin and No. 10 Miami will be played on Saturday, Dec. 30. The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl between No. 12 UCF and No. 7 Auburn (12:30 p.m.) leads into the CFP Semifinals on New Year’s Day.
College Football Playoff National Championship Coverage
ESPN Radio will have comprehensive coverage of the College Football Playoff National Championship Presented by AT&T, including new show Golic and Wingo broadcasting live from Atlanta on New Year’s Day, from 6 – 10 a.m. In addition, ESPN Radio’s College GameDay hosts Doug Kezirian, Trevor Matich and Brad Edwards will guest-host The Dan LeBatard Show on January 1, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
All postseason college football games, including the College Football Playoff will be available on ESPN Radio, the ESPN app, ESPNRadio.com, SiriusXM, Apple iTunes Radio, Slacker Radio and TuneIn.
