College Football Week 7: No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Clemson among the Eight Undefeated Teams on ESPN’s Networks

- ABC’s Saturday Night Football: Utah at No. 13 USC
- Red River Showdown: No. 12 Oklahoma vs. Texas from the Cotton Bowl in Dallas
- 8 Washington State and No. 5 Washington Both in Pac-12 Road Matchups; No. 11 Miami at Home vs. Georgia Tech in Pivotal ACC Matchup
ESPN’s networks will televise eight undefeated teams, including No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson, No. 4 Georgia, No. 5 Washington and No. 8 Washington State during college football’s week 7, which includes both the Tigers and Cougars playing on Friday, Oct. 13 in an ESPN doubleheader.
No. 1 Alabama and No. 4 Georgia Saturday in Primetime vs. SEC Foes
Alabama and Georgia, the two remaining unbeaten teams in the SEC, will both play conference home games in primetime on Saturday, with the Crimson Tide hosting Arkansas on ESPN (7:15 p.m.) and the Bulldogs welcoming in Missouri on SEC Network (7:30 p.m.).
Alabama attempts to extend the nation’s longest home FBS winning streak (15 games) while the Razorbacks look to win at Bryant-Denny Stadium for the first time since 2003. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Maria Taylor will be in Tuscaloosa, Ala., for the call of the game.
Georgia, under second year head coach Kirby Smart, is off to its best start since 2005 (6-0) as they will host Missouri for just the third time ever. Tom Hart, Jordan Rodgers, and Cole Cubelic will be at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga., for the telecast.
Friday Night Doubleheader: Both No. 2 Clemson and No. 8 Washington State in Conference Road Matchups
The No. 2 Clemson Tigers will play on Friday, as the Tigers travel to Syracuse (7 p.m. on ESPN) for just the third time in school history for the teams’ sixth ever meeting. The Orange’s lone victory in the series came back in 1996. Following the matchup, No. 8 Washington State is at California (10:30 p.m. on ESPN) as the Cougars play as a top 10 team for the first time since 2003.
ABC’s Saturday Night Football: Live from Los Angeles; No. 5 Washington at Arizona State
ABC’s Saturday Night Football Presented by Wells Fargo will televise from Los Angeles, as No. 13 USC hosts Utah in a Pac-12 South matchup. The Trojans are undefeated at home this season as they welcome in Utes to the LA Coliseum. Steve Levy, Brian Griese and Todd McShay will call the game.
Washington, who has won its last eight Pac-12 conference road games, heads to Arizona State (10:45 p.m. on ESPN), the site of the Huskies last conference road loss back in 2015. Dave Pasch, Greg McElroy and Tom Luginbill will be in Tempe, Arizona, for the game.
Red River Showdown and Pivotal ACC Conference Matchup Highlight Saturday Afternoon Action
The Red River Showdown featuring No. 12 Oklahoma and Texas from Dallas (ESPN) and No. 11 Miami (ABC) hosting Georgia Tech, both at 3:30 p.m., will highlight the Saturday afternoon slate.
Both the Sooners (Lincoln Riley) and Longhorns (Tom Herman) will have first year head coaches in the series that dates back to 1900. Joe Tessitore, Todd Blackledge and Holly Rowe will be at the Cotton Bowl for the game.
The Yellow Jackets head to Miami with an undefeated conference record, tied with the Hurricanes atop the Coastal division. Mark Jones, Rod Gilmore and Quint Kessenich are in Miami Gardens, Fla.
