ESPN Sunday Night Baseball Overnight Rating & Streaming Audience Up 100 Percent for Yankees-Red Sox

The metered market rating for the September 3 edition of ESPN Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell was up 100 percent vs. last year’s comparable telecast. The New York Yankees’ victory over the Boston Red Sox drew a 1.6 metered market rating, peaking with a 2.0 from 10-10:15 p.m. ET, according to Nielsen.

An average minute streaming audience of 39,000 viewers watched ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball, up 105 percent vs. last year’s comparable game. On television in New York, the telecast delivered a 7.0 rating, while in Boston, it generated a 6.0.

Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell continues on September 10 at 8 p.m. when the American League Central-leading Cleveland Indians host the Baltimore Orioles.
