World of X Games August 2017 Lineup

Following all the excitement of X Games Minneapolis, World of X Games programming returns in August with original programming, and event highlights from the World Surf League series and the Street League Skateboarding series. The August original programming features a look into the exciting Rip to Cabo 2017 as well as the fifth installment in the Real Series – Real Moto.

Rip to Cabo 2017
Airs: 8/5 at 2:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT on ABC
X Games analyst Cameron Steele leads a pack of 38 skilled motocross riders, including X Games medalist Jackson Strong and legendary surfer Sunny Garcia, down the demanding terrain of Baja Peninsula on a 1,268 -mile journey over seven days. Beginning at the San Diego-Tijuana border and culminating at the tip of Baja California, the band of brothers embark on a journey of a lifetime. Tackling remote and beautiful terrain that no one has ever ridden before, the pack rides down a trail that bounces between the two coast lines of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortes, facing physical and mental challenges along the way.
WSL Surfing Stop #6 J-Bay Open
Airs: 8/12 at 2:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT on ABC
In the sixth stop of the World Surf League Championship Tour, the J-Bay event saw near flawless conditions, resulting in eight perfect 10-point rides. Brazilian Felipe Toledo was responsible for two of those perfect 10s en route to his win over rookie Frederico Morais.
Street League Skateboarding Stop #3
Airs: 8/19 at 2 p.m. ET / 2:30 p.m. PT on ABC
The third stop of the Street League Skateboarding tour takes fans to Chicago, Illinois, where the top street skaters face off again for the first time since X Games Minneapolis. This episode will provide recap highlights from the event.
Real Moto
Airs: 8/27 at 1 p.m. ET / 2:30 p.m. PT on ABC
The fifth installment in the Real Series, Real Moto will feature five of the world’s top motocross athletes premiering never-before-seen video parts. Their video parts will debut on XGames.com/RealMoto, to be judged by a panel of industry experts for a cash prize award along with gold, silver and bronze medals for the top three athletes and filmers. This World of X Games episode will recap and announce this year’s winner. The athletes include: Axell Hodges, Jackson Strong, Kris Foster, Ronnie Renner and Tyler Bereman.
