***TUNE-IN ALERT*** World of X Games June 2017 Lineup

The June World of X Games lineup will recap the first stop of Street League Skateboarding 2017 in Barcelona and then take fans to Rio de Janeiro for the World Surf League’s fourth stop, Oi Rio Pro. BMX also takes center stage this month with Real BMX, an all video competition highlighting the world’s best BMX riding. Wrapping up the month will be an all-encompassing recap of the Road to X Games Boise Park Qualifier, where 16 athletes will earn spots to compete in the first ever X Games Minneapolis.

Street League Skateboarding Stop #1

Airs:   6/3 at 2:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT on ABC

The 2017 Street League Skateboarding Nike SB Pro Open in Barcelona was anybody’s to win, however it was Nyjah Huston who took the top spot, edging out Shane O’Neil in an exciting finish down to the last tricks. With this win, Huston has now earned a golden ticket, securing his spot in the SLS Nike SB Crown World Championship in Los Angeles this fall.

WSL Surfing Stop #4 Oi Rio Pro

Airs:   6/10 at 4 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on ABC

The WSL Championship Tour season is heating up and the world title race is starting to get very interesting. This World of X Games episode takes a journey to the fourth contest of the 2017 season, the Oi Rio Pro in Saquarema, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where Adriano De Souza and Tyler Wright stormed the podium, taking first in the men’s and women’s divisions. Both are now well positioned to make a charge at the title going into the second half of the season.

Road to X Games – Boise Park Qualifier

Airs:  6/18 at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT on ESPN and 6/25 at 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT on ABC

As part of the Road to X Games content series, X Games will host the world’s top athletes in a Park Qualifier event on June 10 as they compete to secure their invitation to X Games Minneapolis. Held at Rhodes Skatepark in Boise, Idaho, the Road to X Park Qualifier will feature three disciplines — Men’s Skateboard Park, Women’s Skateboard Park and BMX Park. The top six athletes in Men’s Skateboard Park and BMX Park and the top four in Women’s Skateboard Park  will earn an invite to X Games Minneapolis.

Real BMX 2017

Airs:  6/24 at 2 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on ABC

Following Real Street, the fourth installment in the Real Series will switch focus to BMX. Eight BMX athletes premiered video parts on XGames.com/RealBMX, to be judged by a panel of industry experts for a cash prize award along with gold, silver and bronze medals for the top three athletes and filmers. This World of X Games episode will recap and announce this year’s winner. The athletes include: Alex Donnachie, Chad Kerley, Dave Krone, Demarcus Paul, Nathan Williams and Colt Fake.
