“SEC Inside” Show Expands to Basketball on SEC Network

Back-to-back new episodes every Monday beginning January 23
SEC Network is expanding the SEC Inside show series to the men’s basketball regular season. SEC Inside will begin a 7-week series on January 23, airing new episodes back-to-back at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. ET every Monday night. Produced by Emmy Award winner Jim Jorden, the show will showcase high-end cinematography and new vantage points inside two basketball programs each week as they prepare to face regular-season conference opponents.
“We are interested in telling the unique individual story of all 14 SEC basketball programs, focusing on the verbiage and philosophy of each head coach,” said Jorden. “Most simply, “Tell me a fact and I’ll learn, tell me a truth and I’ll believe, but tell me a story and it will live in my heart forever.”
SEC Inside’s coverage of men’s basketball will conclude with a special SEC Tournament championship edition Wednesday, March 15 at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network. SEC Inside chronicled the men’s and women’s basketball tournament championships last year. It was two of five special editions of the show created to further document the crowing of SEC Champions in basketball, baseball, softball and gymnastics.
SEC Network is currently in its second season covering all 14 Southeastern Conference football programs in a 15-consecutive week fall series. The show airs on Wednesday nights and implements unique camera angles and previously unheard sounds from the coaches and players leading up to, and during, that week’s selected matchup.
