Inaugural SEC Network Softball Season Expands TV Schedule Threefold in 2015

300+ games across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network and SEC Network +
ESPN’s SEC Network will swing into its inaugural softball season with more than 50 games slated for the new network and a total of 76 across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and SEC Network. The additional games will increase SEC softball’s television coverage to a historic high, with three times more nationally televised matchups than in previous years. In addition, SEC Network will be producing 227 games as digitally exclusive SEC Network + events, making more than 300 games available to fans.
The television schedule begins on the SEC Network’s six month anniversary, Saturday, Feb. 14, with the defending NCAA Division I Softball Champions, Florida, playing NC State. Also highlighted in the schedule is a three-game series rematch of the 2014 Women’s College World Series Championship game, Florida at Alabama, airing on ESPNU (March 21-22) and SEC Network (March 23).
At the conclusion of the regular season, the entire SEC Softball Tournament will be televised across ESPN networks. The First Round and Quarterfinals will be carried on SEC Network, Semifinals on ESPNU and the Championship Game on ESPN2.
