ESPN and Oakley to Collaborate on Content for ABC’s World of X Games

Snowboarding: For Me to Kick Off Series November 23
ESPN will team with Oakley to televise a series of programs which will air as part of the World of X Games series on ABC. The first program produced by Oakley will air on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 4 p.m. ET — Snowboarding: For Me.
The inaugural Oakley program on World of X Games will bring together many of the world’s best snowboarders to share their perspectives on and experiences in snowboarding. Snowboarding: For Me combines archival and never-before-seen video footage with insightful interviews from the 2013 -14 season with riders, including pioneers Terje Håkonsen and JP Walker, and Olympians Shaun White, Mark McMorris and Ståle Sandbech. Snowboarding: For Me brings together the best snowboarders that span generations of snowboarding to offer perspective on the sport of snowboarding’s past, present and future.

“Snowboarding: For Me amplifies the voice of a legendary group of snowboarders, giving them a platform from which to share their perspectives on the past, present and future of the sport. World of X Games is a weekly program on ABC which features a variety of X Games and athlete-focused content. The project collaboration further enhances the long-standing working relationship between Oakley and ESPN.
