The Texas Longhorn volleyball team, currently ranked second in the country by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), will face Iowa State on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. CT. Longhorn Network will carry the first Big 12 conference matchup at home and tipoff coverage with a live pregame show from Gregory Gym at 6:30 p.m. CT.

The half-hour courtside show will be a mix of interviews, locker room access, a Coaching 101 segment with head coach Jerritt Elliott and an inside look at a Texas practice leading into the match. In addition, the show will include a feature on senior Haley Eckerman, UT’s three-time All-American who hails from the state of Iowa.

Longhorn Network’s Paul Sunderland, Nell Fortner and reporter Tyler Denning will preview the game from the set courtside in addition to calling the matchup. The show will mark the first live in-venue Texas Volleyball Pregame show for the Longhorns’ volleyball team.

This season, LHN will air eight Big 12 Conference volleyball contests.  Full Schedule
