Notre Dame Commit, Four Players in ESPN 300, and Top 10 Team Kick Off 2014 GEICO ESPN High School Football Showcase

The 2014 GEICO ESPN High School Football Showcase begins with a Notre Dame verbal commitment and four players in the ESPN 300 in-action this weekend. Juniors Boss Tagaloa (DT), ranked No. 56, and Devin Asiasi (TE), ranked No. 288, suit up for No. 24 De La Salle (CA) when they take on Jesuit (CA) Friday, August 29, at 11 p.m. ET (ESPN2). Senior Shaun Crawford (ATH), who has verbally committed to Notre Dame and is ranked No. 161, leads No. 10 St. Edward (OH) vs. junior Ellison Jordan (DT), No. 112, and Gilman (MD) Sunday, August 31, at 4 p.m. (ESPNU). The Showcase will feature 12 premier games and continue each week through Thursday, October 23, including Byrnes (SC) vs. No. 24 De La Salle (CA) on Friday, September 12 on ESPNU.
