With The NBA Finals headed to Miami, the eight winners of ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike “Starting Five at the NBA Finals” contest will enjoy a day of indoor and outdoor activities specially chosen by the hosts – with four on “Team Greeny” enjoying a private golf lesson, followed by lunch and spa treatments.  “Team Golic” will tour Miami’s Biscayne Bay via paddleboard before lunch and massages.  The outings will take place on Tuesday, June 10, the day of Game 3 of the Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat, a rematch of last year’s series.

The eight winners were announced on the show Friday, May 30:

Before attending Game 3 of The NBA Finals, each winner and their guest will have VIP seating for that morning’s live Mike & Mike broadcast on ESPN Radio and ESPN2.  After the activities and before the game, they will meet ESPN’s NBA team of Mike Breen, Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy and receive a behind-the-scenes tour of ESPN’s television production facilities.  The prize also includes round-trip transportation and accommodations for three days and two nights.

Mike & Mike will broadcast live from Lummus Park at12th Street and Ocean Drive in Miami Beach on June 10 and 11.

For four weeks starting April 22, fans waited for the daily “winning word or phrase” and then called, texted, or visited espnradio.com, registering with the winning word of the day.  Each week, two names were randomly selected from among all correct entries for the opportunity to attend an NBA Finals game as part of “Team Greeny” or “Team Golic.”

Mike & Mike is broadcast nationally from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. ET, Monday – Friday, on ESPN Radio, espnradio.com, ESPN Radio app, Sirius XM and simulcast on ESPN2.
