Grantland Live Madness Returns for NCAA Tournament Analysis

Live Stream Commentary with Hosts Bill Simmons, Jalen Rose plus Special Guests Michelle Beadle, Cousin Sal Iacono and Rembert Browne
Grantland Live Madness returns on Thursday, March 20, to deliver refreshing insight and unique game analysis on the first day of “March Madness” – the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. Hosts Bill Simmons, editor-in-chief of Grantland.com, and ESPN analyst Jalen Rose will be joined by a number of guests, including ESPN SportsNation co-host Michelle Beadle, comedian Cousin Sal Iacono from Jimmy Kimmel Live and Grantland writer Rembert Browne, as they preview and review the games and share entertaining anecdotes in three scheduled segments on www.grantland.com.
As in last year’s debut of Grantland Live Madness, Simmons and company break away from conventional commentary during the three scheduled live streams, before, in between and following the games as well as unscheduled segments reacting to major events from the tournament or in studio. Additionally, Grantland Live Madness will engage with fans across its social media platforms throughout the day, incorporating questions and comments into the live streams.
Scheduled Grantland Live Madness streams:
- 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. ET This one-hour pre-game stream will preview the morning’s games and announce the hosts’ picks.
- 1:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. This quick stream will break down the first few games and preview the afternoon and night games.
- 6:10 p.m. – 6:55 p.m. As the afternoon games wind down and the night games begin, this 45-minute stream will provide analysis and commentary on the day’s competition.
