X Games Aspen 2014 to Feature 16 Hours of Live Coverage on ESPN and ABC

X Games Aspen 2014 will feature extensive coverage and content distributed across multiple television and digital platforms from January 23-26, 2014. A combined 16 hours of live coverage will air on ESPN and ABC in high-definition. An additional 13.5 hours of competition will be carried on ESPN3 and ESPN digital platforms, including XGames.com, the X Games app and Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and more. X Games Aspen features the talents of the largest number of Olympians ever showcased at an X Games event just two weeks before heading to Sochi.
Content will also be accessible via WatchESPN and WatchABC to viewers who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
In addition to all of the content on ESPN’s U.S.-based media platforms, X Games Aspen will be televised in 61 countries and territories to more than 405 million homes, including live coverage in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Central America, dozens of countries in Europe, New Zealand and South America.
By enhancing and adding dimension to the X Games viewing experience, fans will have the opportunity to watch all the action, get an inside look at the event and establish a two-way conversation with ESPN, athletes and other viewers.
Television
The X Games Aspen telecast officially kicks off on ESPN with a world-class field in the Men’s Snowboard SuperPipe competition on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 9 p.m. ET and concludes on Sunday, Jan. 26 in the Men’s Snowboard SuperPipe Final at 9 p.m. on ESPN.
New co-hosts Louie Vito and Brandon Graham will host X Games coverage on ESPN and ABC along with Chris Burandt, Keir Dillion, Mike Douglas, Chris Ernst, Tes Sewell, Alyssa Roenigk, Zach Crist, Jamie Little and Jordan Whitley.

Live Music Webcasts – Park Jan. 25 and 26 with four globally recognized musical guests as part of the X Games Aspen 2014 event. Performances will take place with Phoenix, and Matt & Kim taking center stage on Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. MT and international dance music superstar Tiësto anchoring the event on Sunday with Axwell also beginning at 4 p.m. MT. The live music webcast will also be distributed on XGames.com, the X Game Facebook page, and the X Games Livestream Channel.
