ESPN X Games Names New Hosts for 2014

Pro Snowboarder Louie Vito and Action Sports Personality Brandon Graham to Join X Games Aspen Telecast Team
Making their hosting debuts at X Games Aspen 2014, action sports personality Brandon Graham and Pro Snowboarder Louie Vito will host all 16 hours of coverage on ESPN and ABC. The two new hosts join a lineup of action sports experts who will provide analysis and play-by-play for every competition.
No stranger to the telecast booth, Brandon Graham joined the X Games telecast team in 2012 as the play-by-play voice of the men’s and women’s Skateboard Street competitions. Graham got his start as the host of ESPN’s first action sports radio show, Late Night Action. He then added hosting duties for X Games digital content, including Inside X and the Athlete Chat Series to his resume. In addition to serving as co-host, Graham’s responsibilities include serving as play-by-play for the Snowboard SuperPipe, Slopestyle and Big Air events.
“Becoming the host of X Games is truly the opportunity of a lifetime,” said Graham. “I’m honored to call a legend like Louie Vito my partner in this adventure and look forward to being a part of an incredible team that will provide dynamic content for audiences across the globe.”
Though Louie Vito has been a part of X Games Aspen telecasts for many years, he joins Graham for the first time from the telecast booth at X Games Aspen 2014. A current X Games competitor, past Olympian and Sochi hopeful, Vito is an X Games Aspen bronze medalist and has a medal of every color at the X Games Tignes event, two being gold. Vito’s on-camera experience comes from his appearance on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars in 2009 and an 18-episode web series called, Living Louie Vito in 2012.
“I have always been a huge supporter of X Games since I was a kid so I was stoked at the opportunity to join the ESPN/X Games family,” said Vito. “I look forward to bringing insight to the fans watching worldwide from a current rider.”
