espnW will unite top female athletes and sports leaders for the fifth annual espnW: Women + Sports Summit, to be held October 8-10, in Dana Point, Calif. The three-day conference, the premier event of its kind, will be held at the St. Regis Monarch Beach. The Summit brings executives in the sports industry together with athletes and influencers for work sessions, presentations and activities – all geared to advance the dialogue around women in sports and create positive change.

Past Summit attendees have included Olympians Kerri Walsh, Sanya Richards-Ross, Allyson Felix, Jennie Finch, Michelle Kwan, Aly Raisman, Shannon Miller, Swin Cash, Gretchen Bleiler, Carmelita Jeter and Summer Sanders; soccer icons Julie Foudy, Alex Morgan, Kristine Lilly, and Abby Wambach; tennis legend Billie Jean King and budding stars  Taylor Townsend and Sloane Stephens, fitness expert Gabrielle Reece; basketball legends Ann Meyers Drysdale, Lisa Leslie, Jody Conradt, and Sheryl Swoopes; and boxer Laila Ali.

Industry leaders have included NBA’s Adam Silver, Big East commissioner Val Ackerman, Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts, Burton Snowboard’s Donna Carpenter, Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott, WTA’s Stacey Allaster, Starcom Media Vest CEO Laura Desmond, NYRRC’s Mary Wittenberg, Women’s Sports Foundation’s Kathryn Olson, activist and former NFL quarterback Don Macpherson, BrainReserve’s Faith Popcorn, USOC’s Lisa Baird, Dr. Richard Lapchick of the Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport, WNBA president Laurel Richie, Digital Royalty CEO Amy Jo Martin, and ESPN’s President John Skipper and Christine Driessen, executive vice president and CFO.
