The defending NBA Champion Miami Heat – led by 2013 NBA MVP LeBron James – visit the Chicago Bulls and Joakim Noah in the first of two games on ESPN Deportes this weekend. The series is tied 1-1 (as of May 9)

In the second game, the Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs visit Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. In Game 1, the Spurs narrowly edged the Warriors 129-127 in double overtime last Sunday in San Antonio, despite a game-high 44 points and 11 assists from Golden State’s Curry. Coverage on ESPN Deportes begins Thursday, May 9, at 7 p.m. with a pregame edition of Fútbol Picante and the match at 9:55 p.m. The second-leg match will air Sunday, May 12, at 6:55 p.m. The telecasts will feature commentary and analysis from “the narrator of the Americas” Jorge Ramos, alongside Hernán Pereyra. On ESPN Deportes Radio, Dionisio Estrada and Leo Vega will have the call of the first-leg match while Omar Salazar and Giovanni Scavia will describe the action of the second-leg game.

Benfica vs. Chelsea

Chelsea dominated Swiss side FC Basel, 5-2 on aggregate, while Benfica managed to get by Fenerbahce 3-2 on aggregate. This is the first trip to the final for both teams, but Chelsea no stranger to playing matches on the big stage – the Blues won last year’s Champions League final.

The Madrid derby takes center stage on ESPN Deportes, with powerhouse Real Madrid meeting its crosstown rival, Atletico. Real roster is loaded with star power and big-game experience with Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Iker Casillas, among others. Los Rojiblancos, however, are not to be overlooked, having already captured the last year’s UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Europa League crown.

X Games Barcelona

The inaugural competition, taking place May 16 – 19, will feature more than 200 athletes competing for medals and prize money in the sports of Skateboard, BMX, RallyCross and Moto X.  The capital of Catalonia and second-largest city in Spain, Barcelona will provide a historic and distinctive setting for X Games with its multiple Olympic-class venues and stunning views over the city.
