Outside the Lines (Sunday, 9 a.m. ET, ESPN)

As millions of brackets are about to be filled out in office pools across the country, college basketball faces a number of questions: scoring is at its lowest level since the 1981-82 season; is physical play responsible for the lack of offense; the lack of star players; is the “one-and-done” rule hurting teams. ESPN college basketball analysts Jay Bilas and Jalen Rose examine the challenges of today’s college game.

“The college game is more physical right now than the NBA.” Jay Bilas

“If you’re able to come out of high school and go to war and fight for our country, if you’re able to work on Wall Street or go to a Fortune 500 company, you should be able to go to the NBA. But once you go on a college campus to meet to play basketball, you should have to stay for two seasons.” — Jalen Roseon “one and done” rule
