Sunday Women’s College Basketball Action Dominates ESPN2 and ESPNU

A tripleheader on ESPNU on Sunday, Feb. 10, represents this week’s top women’s college basketball games. Tipping off the day – No. 16 North Carolina travels to ACC opponent Georgia Tech at 11:30 a.m., followed by No. 9 Georgia at SEC rival LSU at 1:30 p.m. and a BIG EAST matchup between DePaul at No. 3 Connecticut at 3:30 p.m. On ESPN2, a doubleheader showcases Big Ten foes Michigan State at No. 8 Penn State at 2 p.m. and SEC rivals No. 10 Kentucky at Vanderbilt at 4 p.m.

Additional highlights:

  • Big Monday presented by Bud Light series continues on Feb. 11 – a top-10 matchup between ACC teams No. 7 Maryland at No. 5 Duke at 7 p.m., followed by a BIG EAST game of No. 10 Louisville at No. 2 Notre Dame at 9 p.m.
  • ESPN3 has a slew of early week games, including No. 5 Duke at Virginia on Friday, Feb. 8, at 7 p.m.

Rachel Margolis Siegal

A part of the Internal Communications team at ESPN, I began with the network in 2010 as part of the College Sports PR team. Always an avid sports fan and not an athlete – I grew up a huge fan of the Hartford Whalers, while also watching my brother compete at different levels. I became the manager of several high school sports teams and continued that hobby into college. While at Quinnipiac, I worked in the Sports Information Department, which led me to a summer internship at the New Haven Ravens, a AA baseball team, and an eventual job with the Athletic Communications Department at the University of Connecticut. After my five-year stint at Connecticut, I spent six years as Director of Communications at the BIG EAST Conference in Providence, R.I. before joining ESPN.
