ESPN America and ESPN Player to Provide Live Coverage of the BCS Bowl Championship Series, U.S. College Bowls

ESPN America will broadcast live and exclusive coverage of the BCS National Championship Game, BCS Bowl Games and 25 other Bowl Games as the college football season reaches its conclusion. All of the games will also be available online through the live and on-demand streaming service ESPNPlayer.com.
Each year, the NCAA Football season builds up for more than four months and concludes with the BCS National Championship Game, which is live on ESPN America on Monday 7th January. It will feature top-ranked Notre Dame, who went unbeaten through the season (12-0) and is making their first appearance in the BCS National Championship Game (and first appearance in a Bowl game with the national title on the line since 1988). Brian Kelly’s team are set to face Alabama, the reigning national champions, who ended the season with a 12-1 record and defeated then third-ranked Georgia in the South Eastern Conference (SEC) Championship to earn their third appearance in the national championship game in the last four years.
The four BCS Bowl games begin on New Year’s Day with the Rose Bowl (Wisconsin v Stanford), followed by the Discover Orange Bowl (N Illinois v Florida State). The next day, Wednesday 2nd January, it is Louisville v Florida in the Allstate Sugar Bowl, and on Thursday 3rd January, the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl features Oregon v Kansas State.
