ESPN Deportes+ por ESPN3 will offer exclusive coverage of Dominican Baseball kicking off with the Leones Escogido vs. Aguilas Cibaeñas game October 17 at 7:30 pm ET.

ESPN Deportes Radio Nueva York 1050 AM will follow the coverage starting with the game between Aguilas Cibaeñas and Tigres Del Licey October 23 at 7:30 pm ET.

While the Aguilas Cibaeñas and Tigres Del Licey battle to get back to the top, the defending champions Leones Escogido will attempt to close the title gap and win for the second consecutive year. The league consists of six teams, each playing a 50-game round-robin schedule with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs. The league’s champion advances to the Caribbean Series to play against the representatives from Mexico, Venezuela and Puerto Rico.

Although not confirmed, as the Major League Baseball season comes to a close, some of the Dominican MLB players have expressed interest in participating in this season.
