NBA All-Star Weekend Events & Game on ESPN Radio

For the 16th year, ESPN Radio will present events throughout NBA All-Star weekend, culminating with coverage of the NBA All-Star Game Sunday, Feb. 26, starting at 6:30 p.m. ET in Orlando, Fla. Jim Durham will provide play-by-play for the events with analyst and Hall of Famer Dr. Jack Ramsay. They will joined by on-site studio host Mark Kestecher, analyst Will Perdue, insider Ric Bucher and reporter Shelley Smith.

ESPN Radio’s NBA All-Star Weekend Coverage:

 BBVA Rising Stars Challenge Friday 9 p.m.: features the brightest young stars from the Rookie and Sophomore classes battling it out

 Meet the All-Stars Special Saturday 6 p.m.: interviews with players and other personalities attending NBA All-Star events

 NBA All-Star Saturday Night: Saturday 8:30 p.m.: includes four competitions featuring some of the NBA’s best players.

  • The Haier Shooting Stars: competition features NBA and WNBA Players and NBA Legends in a shooting contest.
  • The Taco Bell Skills Challenge: the top guards work against the clock to compete in an “obstacle course,” consisting of a series of passes, free throws, lay-ups and agility drills.
  • The Foot Locker Three-Point Contest: six of the best long-range shooters attempt to score the most three-pointers in a race against the clock.
  • The Sprite Slam Dunk Contest: showcases the NBA’s most athletic players as they take to the air, mystifying fans with their gravity defying creativity

 61st Annual All-Star Game 6:30 p.m.: The best players from the Eastern and Western Conferences meet, including LeBron James and Blake Griffen
