Soccer on ESPN Platforms: 24 Matches; AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus Exclusive on ESPN3; La Liga Giants Barcelona and Real Madrid

ESPN media platforms (ESPN2, ESPN3 and ESPN Deportes) will air 24 live soccer matches through Wednesday, Oct. 26, beginning tonight with Major League Soccer’s New York Red Bulls, in a must-win match to make the MLS Cup Playoffs, hosting conference and regional rivals Philadelphia Union at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2, ESPN3 and ESPN Deportes.  The match will be ESPN’s final MLS telecast of the regular season.  Highlights:

  • Three legendary Italian Series A teams will be featured exclusively on ESPN3 – Juventus (vs. Genoa) on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 2:40 p.m.; (Lecce vs.) AC Milan on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 6:25 a.m.; and Inter Milan (vs. Chievo Verona) on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 8:55 a.m.;
  • Matches with two La Liga giants – (Malaga vs.) Real Madrid on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m., and (Granada vs.)  Barcelona on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. – will air on ESPN Deportes and ESPN3;
  • Two German Bundesliga and two German Cup matches will air on ESPN3, including Friday’s FC Augsburg vs. Werder Bremen also on ESPN Deportes at 2:30 p.m.
