ESPN Consumer Products Announces All New College GameDay Collection
School-specific Collections Will be Available in Each Market
ESPN Consumer Products introduces the College GameDay Collection: apparel, headwear and novelties that bring the traditions, language and passion of the popular College GameDay Built by The Home Depot show to life. The collection will be available at every school that the three-time Emmy-Award winning program visits throughout the 2011 college football season.
The College GameDay Collection will be available on campus, in school bookstores and at key local retailers in the week leading up to the event and includes short and long-sleeve t-shirts, headwear by New Era, novelties by Wincraft and tumblers by Tervis.
“ESPN’s College GameDay has been a huge event on college campuses across the country for nearly 18 years,” says Matt Novoselsky, associate director, licensing, ESPN Consumer Products. “The College GameDay Collection gives ESPN a chance to reach those passionate fans in each market and provide them with a fresh, new way to show their pride for their school while they gear up for the event.”
College GameDay kicked off with the Cowboy Classic (LSU vs. Oregon) on Sept. 3rd, live from Arlington, Texas, and will originate from the campuses of Michigan and Florida State during the second and third weeks of the season, respectively.

Entering its 25th season and 19th of originating from a game, College GameDay won the Sports Emmy in 2010, 2009 and 2007 for best weekly studio show and was the recipient of the 2006 Outstanding Contributor to Amateur Football Award, given by The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Awards Committee. Fowler will enter his 22nd season as a host of the show, Herbstreit – who won a Sports Emmy as best studio show analyst in 2009 & 2010 – will begin his 16th and Howard is entering his sixth. Andrews begins her second season as an anchor and contributor.
