NBA Regular-Season Concludes Wednesday on ESPN; Playoffs Start Saturday

ESPN will televise an NBA doubleheader on the final night of the regular season Wednesday, April 13, starting with the Dallas Mavericks and Dirk Nowitzki hosting the New Orleans Hornets and Chris Paul at 8 p.m. ET. In the nightcap, the Memphis Grizzlies will visit the Los Angeles Clippers and Blake Griffin at 10:30 p.m. The Mavericks are currently tied with the Los Angeles Lakers for the second seed in the Western Conference, with the Hornets and Grizzlies tied for seventh position (both trail the Portland Trail Blazers by one game for the sixth seed in the West). Dave Pasch will call the Mavs/Hornets game with analyst Hubie Brown; Terry Gannon and analyst Mark Jackson will provide commentary for Grizzles/Clippers. Both games will also be available on ESPN3.com and ESPN Mobile TV. The NBA Playoffs will begin Saturday, April 16, on ESPN and ABC. The early round schedule will be released on Thursday.
