Men’s College Basketball: Rivalry Week: 47 Games Include Four of Top Five Teams
ESPN’s 15th consecutive Rivalry Week Presented by Cisco – 47 games of conference rivalries – will begin Monday, Feb. 7 and conclude Sunday, Feb. 13. The schedule for the first three days of Rivalry Week includes telecasts involving four of the top five teams in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, highlighted by No. 2 Kansas against No. 15 Missouri (Monday, Feb. 7, at 9 p.m. on ESPN). Additional highlights:
- Top five teams in action include No. 3 Texas at Big 12 rival Oklahoma on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. on ESPN2, and No. 4 Pittsburgh at BIG EAST foe West Virginia Monday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. and No. 5 Duke against intrastate ACC adversary North Carolina Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 9 p.m. on ESPN.
- ESPNU’s telecast of No. 13 Louisville at No. 8 Notre Dame in a showdown of ranked BIG EAST squads Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. will be called by Rece Davis with analysts Digger Phelps and Bob Knight. ESPN will also offer a game between ranked BIG EAST teams when No. 14 Georgetown visits No. 17 Syracuse Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m.
- ESPN will televise a doubleheader of showdowns involving a ranked team Tuesday, Feb. 8: No. 10 Purdue against Indiana at 7 p.m. followed by No. 11 Kentucky against Tennessee at 9 p.m.
