ESPN Consumer Products Introduces “Sports Heaven” Apparel Collection

ESPN Consumer Products, in collaboration with Sportiqe Apparel, announces the launch of the “Sports Heaven” apparel collection, a vintage inspired t-shirt line that pays homage to ESPN’s original programming line-up and logos. On September 7, 1979, the Entertainment & Sports Programming Network started as a nighttime cable channel airing alternative sports. Now, more than 30 years later, ESPN has become an international and cultural phenomenon. The collection blends authentic logos with vintage inspired sports graphics on fashionable apparel for a collection that will convince any fan that they have died and gone to Sports Heaven.
Featured styles include the World Frisbee and Full Contact Karate Championships and other unique sports including Slo-Pitch Softball, Australian Rules Football and Superstock Saturday along with original ESPN branded logos and styles. The collection will be available starting in February at Bloomingdale’s stores nationwide, and online at SportiqeBoutiqe.com; styles retail for $28.00 and up.
The Sports Heaven collection was produced in conjunction with Sportiqe Apparel; the brand that brings casual fashion to the fans with trend-driven designs, creative graphics and the most comfortable fabrics. The Sports Heaven collection is the latest in a series of collaborations between ESPN and Sportiqe Apparel—previous collections include their on-going NBA on ESPN co-branded apparel line and the “One Game Changes Everything” World Cup campaign inspired collection.
“At Sportiqe, we have revolutionized the way that sports fans wear their pride by bringing uncompromising quality and fashion-forward designs to casual wear,” said Jason Franklin, Sportiqe Apparel Principal. “It was only natural that we partner with ESPN, who has revolutionized the way that the entire world watches sports. We are thrilled to continue our relationship with ESPN and are confident all sports fans will be as passionate about this nostalgic collection as we are.”
