PokerStars.net Caribbean Adventure Main Event Final Table Saturday on ESPN2

One-Hour Unedited Delay with Hole Cards to Highlight Competition

The PokerStars.net Caribbean Adventure (PCA) main event final table will be televised in high definition with hole cards shown on a one-hour, unedited delay, Saturday, Jan. 15, beginning at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN3.com with ESPN2 HD joining with a simulcast at 10 p.m.. Fans will be able to watch on either outlet until the crowning of the new PCA Main Event champion. ESPN’s innovative coverage will bring fans closer to the action, allow them to see the top pros, experience the game within the game, and watch the drama of the event unfold.

James Hartigan and David Tuchman will share the play-by-play role throughout the evening on ESPN3.com and ESPN2, joined by four-time WSOP bracelet winner and two-time World Poker Tour Champion Daniel Negreanu and poker pro Chad Brown providing analysis in the booth. Michelle Orpe will provide roving reports.

For the first time, ESPN will have a studio set at a poker event with host Lon McEachern and analyst David Williams, providing analysis, player interviews and match highlights throughout the evening.

ESPN.com will also be providing coverage on location with blogs, podcasts, video, interviews with the players and more. Fans can follow @ESPN_Poker on Twitter for instant updates and tournament coverage.

“For the first time viewers at home will see a poker telecast from start to finish, including hole cards and completely unedited, revealing all of the strategy, angst and competition of world-class poker players,” said Matt Volk, ESPN manager programming and acquisitions.

The PCA tournament will take place at the Atlantis Hotel and Resort in the Bahamas with an estimated main event prize pool of $15.1 million dollars and top prize of more than $2 million.
