Steve Addazio was hired as a college football analyst in August 2024, bringing more than three decades of coaching experience to the broadcast booth. Addazio calls games across ESPN platforms and is currently paired with Wes Durham and Dana Boyle on ACC Network’s ACC Primetime Football.

With an accomplished resume, Addazio brings a wealth of knowledge and impactful insight to ESPN’s coverage. Addazio’s extensive career includes head coaching tenures at Boston College, Temple and Colorado State, as well as assistant and associate head coaching stints at Syracuse, Indiana, Notre Dame, Florida – where he was a two-time BCS National Champion – and most recently, Texas A&M.

A Farmington, Conn. native, Addazio was a four-year starter at Central Connecticut State University, where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physical education. He began his coaching career at Western Connecticut State before leading Cheshire High School to national prominence with 49 consecutive wins and three state titles.
