Winners Selected by Fans Via ESPN SportsNation Poll

NFL Live, ESPN’s one-hour weekday NFL news, highlights and analysis program, will present its NFL Midseason Awards on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 4 p.m. on ESPN.  At the bottom of the hour, host Trey Wingo and analysts Mark Schlereth and Herm Edwards, will unveil and discuss the winners in seven categories voted by fans via the ESPN SportsNation poll.  Click here to vote.

The NFL Live Midseason Awards categories include:

Offensive MVPs:  Tom Brady (Patriots), Drew Brees (Saints), Matt Forte (Bears), Calvin Johnson (Lions) and Aaron Rodgers (Packers).

Defensive MVP:  Jared Allen (Vikings), Darrelle Revis (Jets), Ndamukong Suh (Lions), DeMarcus Ware (Cowboys) and Charles Woodson (Packers).

Best rookie:  Andy Dalton (Bengals), A.J. Green (Bengals), Ryan Kerrigan (Redskins), Von Miller (Broncos) and Cam Newton (Panthers).

Biggest story:  Eagles’ disappointing first half; rookie quarterbacks making an impact; Colts winless without (quarterback Peyton) Manning; Lions, 49ers and Bills, all over .500; and Packers are lone undefeated team.

Best play:  Packers Randall Cobb’s kick return vs. Saints; Giants Victor Cruz’s catch vs. Seahawks; Falcons Tony Gonzalez’s catch vs. Eagles; 49ers Justin Smith’s strip of Eagles Jeremy Maclin to seal win vs. Eagles; and Patriots Wes Welker’s 99-yard reception vs. Dolphins.

Best coach:  Chan Gailey (Bills), Jim Harbaugh (49ers), Marvin Lewis (Bengals), Mike McCarthy (Packers), and Jim Schwartz (Lions).

Best comeback:  Week 3 – Bills vs. Patriots; Week 4: 49ers vs. Eagles; Week 4: Lions vs. Cowboys, Week 7: Broncos vs. Dolphins; and Week 8: Ravens vs. Cardinals.
